Privacy notice

1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the provider named in the imprint. Those details are currently placeholders and must be completed before publication.
2. Processing of register data
This platform processes personal data taken from publicly accessible commercial and company registers: name, function, year or month of birth, period of the function and the company address held in the register. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in documenting economic interconnections and protecting potentially affected parties from financial loss. Processing serves journalistic and documentary purposes; the media privileges of Art. 85 GDPR in conjunction with state law apply accordingly.
3. Report form
The form under 'Report a tip-off' currently transmits no data to a server. Your input remains in your browser and is merely assembled into a text that you send yourself. Should a server-side inbox be added in future, this notice will be amended beforehand.
4. Language setting
Your language choice (German or English) is stored solely locally in your browser. It is not a tracking cookie and no transmission takes place.
5. Server log files
When pages are retrieved, the hosting provider collects technically necessary access data such as IP address, time, requested resource and user agent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure and fault-free operation. This data is not merged with other sources.
6. No tracking, no advertising
This platform uses no analytics, advertising or profiling services and embeds no external scripts for advertising purposes.
7. Retention
Register-related records are retained for as long as a documentary interest exists and are reviewed regularly for currency. Ended functions are not deleted but marked historical, since the sequence itself is the subject of the documentation.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For rectification please use the corrections process.
